Vintage Cal Custom Air Cleaner

This is made of magnesium, which made it difficult to really polish to a mirror shine.  It looks like aluminum, but is much more porous and hard.  The casting isn't very good, either.  But it looks good in the engine compartment of the owner's 49 Cadillac street rod!
